Managing money since 1992, Emerald provides equity and fixed-income portfolio management services to institutional investors and to individual investors via separate account management and the Emerald Mutual Funds.

Research is the cornerstone of our equity investment strategies, what we call "The Emerald Advantage." Our team of research analysts adheres to a proprietary 10-Step research process dedicated to hands-on, fundamental research specifically designed to identify unrecognized and under-researched companies. It includes approximately 2,000 company meetings per year on-site at the company, or off-site at conferences, trade shows or other locations. Emerald also leverages the use of adaptable video-conferencing capabilities when such on-site meetings are not feasible.

Emerald is headquartered in Leola, Pennsylvania with additional offices in King of Prussia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
